Banner

Banner is the university's highly integrated enterprise resource planning (ERP) system developed specifically for higher education institutions.  Used to gather, store and present information, it consists of several integrated modules including:

  • Finance
  • Student
  • Human Resources

HOW DO WE USE BANNER AT UOIT?

STUDENTS

  • Use their banner number (also known as their student number) to log into the network or university resources (computer labs, printing portal).
  • Use their banner number to log into other systems including Blackboard and UOITnet.
  • Can check grades, schedules and register for courses online within MyCampus.

FACULTY

  • Use their banner number (also known as their employee number) to log into their UOIT machines.
  • Use their banner number to log into other systems including Blackboard and UOITnet.
  • Can view their teaching schedules and enter grades through MyCampus.

STAFF

  • Use their banner number (also known as their employee number) to log into the network or university resources.
  • Use their banner number to log into other systems including Blackboard and UOITnet..
  • Can enter their hourly timesheets and supervisors can approve their time within MyCampus.
  • Some employees access Banner directly to view and manage user information.
